I don't know about anybody else, but I am sooo ready for college! Not that I didn't have a good experience at Kenwood, but the closer graduation gets, the more I want it. I love the idea of going off to college and starting a new chapter in life. It just seems so refreshing, being in a new environment and meeting new friends. I myself chose to attend the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I honestly can't believe that this is where I'm going because I had made it my sole mission to go to California for college.
But now I find myself as excited as I have ever been about a school in Illinois. And the best part about it is that not only do I get to attend a college with a handful of my friends, but I will also receive the attention and help needed just because I am a African American woman going into a Computer Science major! How awesome is that?
So get ready June 9Th because here I come. I have had senioritis since freshman year. I didn't get in my way back then and I refuse to let it get in my way now. Let’s go mighty class of 2008!!!
